Un silencioso viaje hacia una tierra abandonada donde el hambre convierte al corazón humano en tierra infértil y donde el infortunio de unos se convierte en la salvación de otros.
A silent journey to a deserted land where hunger turns human heart into an infertile land and some people misfortunes mean salvation to other people.
DIRECCIÓN: Carlos Armella
Nacido en Ciudad de México en 1978. Estudió guión en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), y después cinematografía en la London Film School de la que se graduó con el cortometraje A Dead End Story. Fue seleccionado para el Festival de Cine de Venecia 2003 con otro cortometraje titulado Poem. Tras regresar a México participó en el largometraje documental Toro Negro. En 2008 dirigió Tierra y Pan, León de Oro en la sección Corto Cortissimo del Festival de Cine de Venecia 2008.
Born in Mexico City in 1978. He studied script writing in the «Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica» (CCC), and then studied filmmaking in the London Film School from which he graduated with the short film A Dead End Story. He was selected for the 2003 Venice Film Festival with another short film called Poem. After his return to Mexico he got involved with the documentary feature Toro Negro. In 2008 he directed Tierra y pan, Golden Lion in the section Corto Cortissimo of Venice Film Festival 2008.
