Riviera italiana, finales de 1942. Un grupo de soldados alemanes recién llegados de la batalla de El Alamein, disfrutan de unos días de descanso antes de ser enviados al frente ruso para combatir en la batalla que se convertirá en las más sangrienta y cruel de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Italian Riviera, at the end of 1942. A group of German soldiers who have just arrived from Alamein battle, enjoy several rest days before being sent to the Russian front to fight in the battle which will become the bloodiest and cruelest one of the Second World War.
