OLD BOY

Un día de 1988, un hombre normal llamado Oh Dae-su, que vive con su esposa y su adorable hija, es secuestrado y se despierta en una prisión individual improvisada. Dae-su intenta escapar y suicidarse, pero no lo consigue. Mientras tanto, Dae-su se pregunta qué hace que un hombre te odie tanto como para encerrarte sin motivo. Cuando ve las noticias y se entera de que su amada esposa ha sido brutalmente asesinada, Dae-su jura vengarse del hombre que ha destrozado su felicidad y su vida.

One day in 1988, an ordinary man named Oh Dae-su, who lives with his wife and adorable daughter, is kidnapped and later wakes up to find himself in a private makeshift prison. Dae-su makes tries to escape and to commit suicide, but they all end up in failure. All the while Dae-su asks himself what made a man hate him so much enough to imprison him without any reason. When he watches the news and hears that his beloved wife was brutally murdered, Dae-su swears to take revenge on the man who destroyed his happy life.
