Arturo es propietario de un restaurante de banquetes de boda; tiene una esposa sumisa, Paz; está orgulloso de su hijo Arturito, y cada noche del viernes la pasa en un hotel con su amante y ayudante de cocina Cristal, a la vez hija de su mejor amigo, el policía José. Arturo, tras un conato de ruptura con su mujer, promete a su amante sacar a la luz su relación. Cristal, harta de sartenes quiere el puesto de relaciones públicas de Paz y casarse. Cuando el divorcio no se produce, Cristal ve sus sueños rotos. Lejos de conformarse, urde una terrible venganza: enamorar a Arturito y planificar una boda con él, obligando a su padre a prepararla, costearla y cocinarla.

Arturo is the owner of a restaurant providing wedding receptions; he’s got a submissive wife, Paz; he’s proud of his son Arturito and he spends every Friday night in an hotel with his lover and kitchen assistan Cristal, who is also the daughter of his best friend, the policeman José. Arturo, after an attempt to split up with his wife promises his lover that his will bring their relationship to light. Cristal, who is fed up with frying pans wants Paz’s post of public relations officer and to get married. When the divorce doesn’t materizlize Cristal sees her dreams vanishing. Far from Accepting this she plots a terrible revenge: getting Arturito fall in love with her and planning a wedding with him, forcing his father to prepare, pay for and cook for it.
