Desesperada y al borde del suicidio, AileenWuornos conoce a Selby, una joven enviada a vivir con una tía por sus padres para “curar su homosexualidad”. Aileen, víctima de una trágica infancia llena de abusos, se enamora de ella rápidamente, aferrándose a Selby como si de un salvavidas se tratara. Desperate and on the brink of commiting suicide, Aileen Wuornos meets Selby, a young woman sent by her parents to live with her aunt to “heal her homosexuality”. Aileen, a victim of a tragic childhood full of abuses, falls in love with her immediately, clinging to Selby as she were a life jacket. When one of Aileen’s clients, she still works as a prostitute, gots violent, she shoots him in self-defense; this will be the first of a tragic series of murders.
