El Gobernador Rojas dirige el penal de El Pao en una isla del Caribe. Inés, su mujer, mantiene relaciones fugaces con los jefes de la guarnición militar. Sólo cuenta con la ayuda de Ramón Vásquez, viejo amigo de Inés. La llegada de Gual, enemigo del clan político de Rojas, provoca una situación crítica en la isla.
The Governor Rojas directs the prison of El Pao in a Caribean island. Inés, his wife, maintains fleeting relations with the officers of the military garrison. He has only the help of Ramón Vásquez, an old friend of Inés. The arrival of Gual, enemy of the Rojas politic clan provokes a critic situation in the island.
