Alison ha dedicado los tres últimos años de su vida a cuidar a su madre, que padece Alzheimer. Cuando se despierta una mañana y descubre que la puerta principal de su casa está abierta y que la enferma se ha marchado, Alison no da la alarma. Una decisión que tendrá graves consecuencias.
Alison has devoted the last three years of her life to caring for her mother, who has Alzheimer’s. When she wakes one morning to find the front door of her house open and her patient gone, Alison fails to raise the alarm. A decision that will have grave consequences.
DIRECCIÓN: Graeme McAulay
Graeme McAulay is an award-winning director, producer and journalist. He has worked in Scotland and London making programmes for Frontline Scotland, Panorama and The Money Programme. His 30-minute investigation, «Arlene Fraser Murder Trail: The Missing Evidence,» won the BAFTA Scotland award for Best News and Current Affairs programme in 2006, and his BBC Panorama documentary ‘Britain’s Protection Racket’ won the same accolade in 2008. He has developed 2 drama screenplays for cinema with the assistance of Scottish Screen and the UK Film Council. «Push Once to Stop,» and «Floating is Easy». Earlier this year, he was commissioned by Numb Music (Fratellis, Sergeant) to make a video for their newest band Exit Calm’s single ‘Higher Learning’. Floating is Easy is his first drama for cinema.
