En los caminos campestres de Chiloé, una isla chilena en el sur del mundo, un cortejo de personas camina detrás de un viejo carro de madera tirado por un caballo hacia una pequeña capilla. Encabeza el cortejo una mujer llorando desconsoladamente. Una vez en la capilla, cuando el cura comienza su oración, esta mujer ve las imágenes de la vida de la difunta. Es sólo al final de esta sucesión de imágenes que toma sentido la historia…

On the country roads in Chiloé, a Chilean island in the south of the world, a procession of people walks behind an old wooden cart pulled by a horse towards a small chapel. The procession is led by a woman crying inconsolably. Once inside the chapel, when the priest begins the mass, this woman starts to see images of the life of the deceased. It is only at the end of this succession of images that the meaning of the story is revealed…
