Ciro es un campesino de 70 años que necesita sembrar su cultivo de yuca para sobrevivir, está cansado y débil, no puede manualmente sembrar la tierra. Gerson su único hijo, que además está en prisión decide hacer lo posible por ayudar a su padre.
Ciro is a 70 years old peasant who needs to plant yucca to survive, he is weary and weak and cannot work the land manually anymore. His only son Gerson, who is in jail, decides he must make every effort to help his father.

Nacido en Socorro, Santander (Colombia) estudia producción de televisión y radio en la Universidad Manuela Beltrán-ITAE, y gestión y desarrollo de proyectos cinematográficos en la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga. Coproductor y Guionista del cortometraje Naranjas, ganador del Fondo de Desarrollo Cinematográfico (2012), obtiene el premio al mejor cortometraje latinoamericano en el 29º Festival de cine del Mar del Plata, Argentina (2014). Director y guionista del cortometraje Yucas, ha ganado el premio Departamental de Estímulos Santander 2015.
Born in Socorro, Santander (Colombia), he studied TV and Radio Production at Universidad Manuela Beltrán-ITAE, and Film Project Management and Development at Universidad Autónoma of Bucaramanga. Co-producer and scriptwriter of the short film Naranjas, winner of the Fondo de Desarrollo Cinematográfico (2012). It was awarded Best Latin American Short at the 29th Mar de Plata Film Festival, Argentina (2014). Director and scriptwriter of the short Yucas, awarded with the Premio Departamental de Estímulos, Santander 2015.
