Toni y Juanlu Ruiz son hermanos. En 2010, se embarcan junto a Israel Mondéjar en la realización de un largometraje creado sin un guión ni idea previos, sino en base a improvisaciones con los actores y actrices, método de creación con el que Toni emprende todas sus producciones teatrales. El resultado fue la película Buenos Aires cuatropuntocinco, que se presentó en la sección Zonazine del 14º Festival de Málaga, donde fue premiada con tres biznagas de plata a la Mejor Dirección, Mejor Actor y Mejor Actriz. Te desconozco es el primer cortometraje creado en conjunto por los dos hermanos.

Toni and Juanlu Ruiz are brothers. In 2010, they got involved in the production of a feature film created with no previous script, but on the basis of improvisations of the actors and actresses, a creation method used by Toni in all his theatrical productions. The result was Buenos Aires cuatropuntocinco, released in Zonazine at the 14th Málaga Festival, where it was awarded three Silver Biznagas for Best Director, Best Actress and Best Actor. Te desconozco (I Don’t Decognize you) is the first short film created jointly by these two brothers.
