Rags es una historia de abuso y corrupción, contada a través de los fugaces recuerdos reprimidos de una madre adolescente. Saltando atrás y delante en el tiempo, desentrañamos las oscuras revelaciones de acoso infantil y abuso sexual de su pasado a manos de la misma persona que estaba destinada a protegerla.
Rags is a story of abuse and adulteration, told through the fleeting repressed memories of a teenage mother. Skipping backwards and forwards through time, we unravel the dark revelations of grooming and sexual abuse in her past at the hands of the very person who was meant to protect her.
DIRECCIÓN: Tom Beard
Director de cine y fotógrafo conocido por su retrato íntimo de música y por su devoción por los medios analógicos. Ha dirigido el cortometraje, Generation of Vipers, protagonizada por Jessica Hynes y el destacado Oliver Woollford (Utopía). La trayectoria de Beard en la fotografía continúa inspirando e iluminando su obra. Recientemente ha iniciado una serie de fotografías del Ballet Nacional Inglés.
Filmmaker and photographer known for his intimate music portraiture and his devotion to analogue mediums. Beard has directed the short film, Generation of Vipers, starred by Jessica Hynes and the outstanding Oliver Woollford (Utopia). Beard’s photographic background continues to inspire and enlighten his work, most recently he has started a series of photographs of the English National Ballet.
