Una pareja de Brooklyn se asusta al descubrir que el espíritu que habitaba su casa durante años se ha marchado sin avisar. La pareja busca consejos en una vidente que les avisa de lo difícil que es encontrar un buen fantasma estos días. Los protagonistas asustados de vivir sin su presencia en la casa, emprenden una intensa búsqueda de un fantasma a través de entrevistas. Después de una larga búsqueda sin resultados, el marido decide reemplazar él mismo al fantasma desaparecido, descubriendo poco después de su suicidio que su fantasma solo se había marchado temporalmente para resolver asuntos familiares.

A Brooklyn couple freaks out when they find out that the spirit that has inhabited their home for years has left without notice. The couple tries to find advice on what to do through a psychic, who tells them how hard it is to find a good presence these days. The main characters decide to go through an intense search, interviewing different ghosts, Unfortunately none of them seems good enough. Out of desperation the husband decides to commit suicide in order to replace their missing ghost. Not long after his suicide they discover that their missing ghost took a few weeks off to resolve some family issues and is coming back.
