La tranquilidad de un pequeño y aislado pueblo de montaña se ve alterada por la llegada del nuevo alcalde Luis Ugarte, que relevará de sus funciones al dominante sacerdote del pueblo, el padre Julián.

The peace of a little, remote mountain village is altered by the arrival of the new mayor Luis Ugarte, who will remove Father Julián, the dominant village priest, from his duties. This fact coincides with the fear of the village inhabitants to the return of an old curse which puts their lives in danger.
