DIRECCIÓN: Stefan Djordjevic

Nació en Bor, una pequeña ciudad industrial de Serbia oriental, en 1987. Se traslada a Belgrado para estudiar cine y fotografía y se gradua en la Facultad de Arte Dramático de Belgrado. Su película amateur, Crap, fue inspiración para la película Tilva Ros, de Nikola Lezaic, en la que Stefan interpreta uno de los papeles principales. La película ganó el premio Heart of Sarajevo a la mejor película de 2010 y fue nominada al Premio Descubrimiento Europeo por la Academia de Cine Europeo. Su película de graduación fue un corto de ficción, A hand-of- stone, que se proyectó en festivales de cine internacionales y se estrenó internacionalmente en el programa ACID del Festival de Cine de Cannes. Durante sus estudios dirigió y rodó un par de cortometrajes como Journey, Juvenile, dirigido por Jovan Todorovic y Wings and Things, que codirigió con Jelena Gavrilovic. Su último cortometraje es The last image of father, estrenado mundialmente en el Festival de Cine de Locarno y ganador del premio del Jurado Joven al mejor cortometraje internacional. En el Festival de Cine de Sarajevo la película ganó el premio Heart of Sarajevo al mejor cortometraje internacional.

Stefan Djordjevic was born in Bor, a small industrial town in Eastern Serbia in 1987. He moved to Belgrade to study cinema and photography and graduated at the Faculty of Dramatic Art in Belgrade. His amateur film Crap was the inspiration for the film Tilva Ros by Nikola Lezaic, in which Stefan plays one of the two main roles. The film won the Heart of Sarajevo award for the best film in 2010, and it was nominated for the European Discovery Award by the European Film Academy. His graduation film was a short fiction film A handful of stones, which was screened at many international film festivals and had international premiere at the ACID programme of Cannes Film Festival. During his studies he directed and shot a couple of short films: Journey, juvenile (short documentary), directed by Jovan Todorovic and Wings and Things (short fiction), which he co-directed with Jelena Gavrilovic. His latest short film is The last image of father, which internationally premiered at Locarno Film Festival and won Young Jury award for the best international short film. It won the Heart of Sarajevo award for the best international short film, at the Sarajevo film festival.
