Yoemil, un joven cubano, hereda de su padre un viejo y destruido auto polaco. Intenta arreglarlo a toda costa, ilusionado en rescatar algo de una relación entre padre e hijo que apenas existió. En una isla donde un auto es síntoma de lujo, el viejo Polski se vuelve la posibilidad de un nuevo futuro. Pero, al final, lo que se desvela son engranajes que ya no funcionan.
Yoemil, a young Cuban, inherited from his father a destroyed old Polish car. At all costs he tries to fix it, eager to save something from their -barely exiting- father-son relationship. On an island where a car is a sign of luxury, the old Polski becomes the possibility of a new future. But in the end, mechanisms that no longer work are revealed.

Ha trabajado como asistente de producción y script en largos, series, publicidad y en la realización de trailers para HBO. En julio de 2015 egresa en la especialidad de Dirección de la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de Cuba. Donde realizó cortos de ficción y documental, como Pesca, También hay días que llueve y días que no, Virgilio y Polski .
He had worked as production assistant and script in features films, TV series and ads and in the production of trailers for HBO. In July of 2015 he finished his studies in Direction in the International School of Film and TV in Cuba. There he directed fiction and documentary shortfilms such as Pesca, There is Also Days with Rain and Days Without, Virgilio and Polski.
