El director re-examina momentos de la relación con su novia en imágenes que registran instantes de una vida en común – un viaje a Uruguay, fragmentos de una crisis y el inicio de la separación. En el momento en que ella deja el apartamento que han compartido, el director capta nuevas imágenes. Más tarde, cuando quiere editarlas, encuentra un nuevo significado de cada situación y reevalúa sus sentimientos, reflexionando sobre lo que él le pide realmente a la vida.
Director Renato Gaiarsa re-examines moments in his relationship with his girlfriend, in images that register bits of life together – a trip to Uruguay, fragments of a crisis and the beginning of a separation. In the moment that he leaves the apartment they lived in, the filmmaker collects new images. Later, when he goes to edit them, he encounters new meanings in everything he went through and re-evaluates his feelings, thinking about what he really wants from life.

Nacido en 1980 en Salvador, Brasil. Desde sus producciones de bajo presupuesto en VHS en los años 90 hasta hoy, el espíritu del realizador no ha variado. En los últimos diez años ha participado como director, camarógrafo y editor de cortos, documentales, una entrevista y el show musical Encarte para TV e internet, y más concretamente, 17 vídeos musicales de bandas de rock brasileñas independiente. O filme que eu fiz para não esquecer es su primera película y ha recibido una gran aceptación por su tema personal y apasionado.
Born in 1980 in Salvador, Brazil. Since his low-budget productions in VHS in the 90’s until the present day the spirit of a filmmaker has always been present. In the last 10 years he participated, as a director, cinematographer and/or editor, of short films, documentaries, an interview and musical show Encarte for TV and internet, and most notably, 17 music videos of independent rock bands from Brazil. O filme que eu fiz para não esquecer is his first film and has been receiving a great response for its personal and passionate theme.
