Mia tells the story of a home nurse we follow during -what appears to be- an ordinary day. Her encounters lead her to a confrontation with herself.

Graduada con honores en Artes Audiovisuales en el KASK de Gante con el documental Home video, premio documental View Point. Desde entonces ha trabajado como directora independiente, principalmente para televisión y teatro. Con Rabot, ganó el Premio del Público en el Festival de Cine de Gante, el Premio Scam Scenario en el Festival de Cine Millenium de Bruselas, el Ensor al Mejor Documental, el Premio de Cine Social y una Mención Especial en el Festival de Derechos Humanos.
She graduated with honors in Audiovisual Arts from the Ghent KASK with the documentary Home video, Viewpoint documentary award. She has since worked as freelance director mainly for television and theatre. With Rabot she won the Audience Award at Ghent Film Festival, the Scam Scenario Award at Millennium Film Festival in Brussels, the Ensor for Best Documentary, the Social Film Award, and a Special Mention at the Human Rights Festival.
