Herido por la Guardia Civil, Rafael se refugia en casa de Fermín y su hija María Luz. Ésta le cuida y ambos se enamoran. Rafael decide abandonar su vida criminal y pasa a trabajar para el dueño del cortijo, Don Pablo, cuyos hijos Luis y la Marquesita sólo se dedican a divertirse. Luis se encapricha de María Luz y La Marquesita de Rafael.
Wounded by the Civil Guard, Rafael takes refuge in Fermín’s house who lives with his daughter María Luz. She takes care of him and they fall in love. Rafael decides to leave his criminal life and starts to work for the owner of the farmhouse, Don Pablo, whose children Luis and Marquesita devote only to have fun. Luis is digging his heels in María Luz and Marquesita in Rafael.
