DIRECCIÓN: Tomasz Wiński.

Tomasz Wiński (39) nació en Polonia. De 2003 a 2010, estudió dirección de cine en la Academia de Cine y TV de Praga (FAMU). Antes de trabajar en FAMU, completó un curso de dirección cinematográfica de 1 año en la Escuela Superior de Dirección de Cine Andrzej Wajda en Varsovia, donde realizó dos cortometrajes: We have to talk (2002) y Emotionless (2003). En FAMU dirigió cinco cortometrajes: I Disappear (2004), Something in the engine (2004), I see myself (2005), Attempt (2005) y Mia (2006). La película que presentó para su tesis, Síntomas (2011) ganó el premio a la Mejor Película y al Mejor Director en el Famufest 2011. Trabajó como ayudante de dirección en películas como Dług (1999) dirigida por Krzysztof Krauze, Wielkie Rzeczy (2000) y Edges of the lord (2001) dirigidas por Jurek Bogayevicz, Plac Zbawiciela (2006) y  Papusza (2013) dirigidas por Krzysztof Krauze y Joanna Kos Krauze. En 2016, participó en el Programa EKRAN + en la Escuela de Cine Andrzej Wajda, desarrollando su nuevo proyecto, Images of lover. Ahora mismo vive en Praga, República Checa.

Tomasz Wiński (39) was born in Poland. From 2003 to 2010 he studied film directing at the Film and TV Academy in Prague (FAMU). Prior to FAMU, he completed a 1-year directing course at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing in Warsaw where he made two short films: We have to talk (2002) and Emotionless (2003). At FAMU he directed five short films: I Disappear (2004), Something in the engine (2004), I see myself (2005), Attempt (2005) and Mia (2006). His thesis film Symptoms (2011) won the award for Best Film and Best Feature Director at the 2011 Famufest.  He worked as an assistant director and 1st AD on such films as Dług (1999) dir. Krzysztof Krauze, Wielkie Rzeczy (2000) Edges of the lord (2001) dir. Jurek Bogayevicz, Plac Zbawiciela (2006) dir. Krzysztof Krauze, Joanna Kos Krauze, Papusza (2013) dir. Krzysztof Krauze, Joanna Kos Krauze.  In 2016 he participated in EKRAN+ Training Programme at the Andrzej Wajda Film School developing his new feature project Images of Love. He currently lives in Prague, Czech Republic.
