Jari y Minna, una joven pareja, están de viaje por Suecia, robando durante el trayecto. En una preciosa noche de verano en un pequeño pueblo roban una bicicleta. El robo es descubierto y esto conduce al trágico asesinato de tres personas, una familia entera es aniquilada. Jari y Minna huyen por toda Suecia, aferrados obsesivamente y en silencio el uno al otro. ¿Cuál de ellos es el culpable? ¿Hay alguna explicación para este asesinato sin sentido?

Jari and Minna, a young couple, are on a tour of Sweden, stealing as they go. On a lovely summer night in a small village they steal a bicycle. The theft is discovered and this leads to the tragic murder of three people – a whole family is wiped out. Jari and Minna flee through Sweden, clinging obsessively and silently to each other. Which of them is guilty? Is there any explanation to this meaningless killing?
