“Estas cosas no ocurren a la fuerza”, dice el Observador A. “Ni a voluntad de nadie”, añade el Observador B. Fictitious Force es un diálogo sobre la imposibilidad de compartir experiencias, en blanco y negro y gris.
‘These things don’t happen by force’, says Observer A. ‘Or by one’s will’, adds Observer B. Fictitious Force is an exchange on the impossibility to share experiences, in black and white and grey.

Nacido en Berlín Oeste, en 1980, se graduó en Antropología Cultural por la Universidad de Hamburgo y en Comunicación Visual por la Universidad de Bellas Artes de Hamburgo. Sus obras han sido expuestas en los espacios de arte y festivales como el Wexner Center para las artes, la Bienal WRO, el Festival de Cine de Berlin, el Festival Internacional de Cine Rotterdam, el Festival de Cine de New York y en Visions du Réel. Widmann hizo una residencia en Akademie Schloss en 2014 y en 2015 en Villa Kamogawa en Kyoto.
Born in West-Berlin in 1980, he graduated in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Hamburg and in Visual Communication from the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg. His works have been shown in art venues and film festivals, such as the Wexner Center for the Arts, WRO Biennale Wroclaw, Berlin Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, FID Marseille, CPH:DOX and Visions du Réel. Widmann was a fellow in residence at Akademie Schloss in 2014 and in 2015 at Villa Kamogawa in Kyoto.
