Trabaja en proyectos de cine tanto de acción real como de animación. Su primer largometraje La muerte en La Alcarria, se estrenó en el prestigioso Visions Du Réel y ha sido seleccionado en diferentes festivales internacionales. Es el creador de la serie de animación infantil Anna Filoute. Es también docente de análisis fílmico e historia del cine; e imparte clases de dirección en el máster de animación de la BAU. Actualmente está dirigiendo la segunda temporada de la serie de animación Talking Tom and Friends.

Fernando Pomares works both on live action and animation film projects. His first feature film, La Muerte En La Alcarria, premiered at the prestigious Visions Du Réel and has been selected at various international festivals. He is the creator of the children’s animated series Anna Filoute. He also teaches film analysis and film history; and gives classes in film direction in the BAU animation master’s degree. He is currently directing the second season of the animated series Talking Tom and Friends.
