Antropólogo y director de cine, la pasión de Benoit por el cine es consecuencia directa de su fascinación por el ser humano. Sus líneas de investigación principales son el análisis de las percepciones y las relaciones con el prójimo. Se graduó en cine por la Universidad de Montreal y fundó Les Productions Perceptions. Welcome Yankee, Il Paesano y Dr. Díaz son algunas de sus obras. En la actualidad busca financiación para producir su primer largometraje, The Displaced, la continuación de Dr. Díaz.

Both anthropologist and filmmaker, his passion for cinema is a direct result of his fascination for the human being. His main lines of research are in the exploration of perceptions and the relationship with the other. He graduated at the University of Montreal in film studies and he founded Les Productions Perceptions. Some of his productions are Welcome Yankee, Il Paesano and Dr. Díaz. He currently works on obtaining funding to produce his first feature film called The Displaced, which is meant to be the continuation of Dr. Díaz.
