Controlada por el régimen nacionalsocialista, una joven enfermera, Alma, se sacrifica por la esperanza de un futuro mejor. Poco a poco se da cuenta de la magnitud de su decisión y debe luchar con una creciente impotencia.
Constrained into the totalitarian NS regime, a young nurse, Alma, is making a huge sacrifice for the hopes of a better future. Little by little she realizes the extent of her decision and struggles with growing powerlessness.

Hamburgo, 1988. Después de estudiar filosofía e historia del arte, comenzó a trabajar en el mundo del cine, primero como asistente de producción en el sector de los documentales, después como asistente de casting y dirección de largometrajes. En 2014 rodó su primer cortometraje narrativo, Häme y en otoño de 2016 comenzó sus estudios en la Universidad de Cine de Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. En 2017 su película Boys Will Be Boys se proyectó en Sehsüchte. En 2020 su película Der Quell se estrenará en el festival de cine Max Ophüls Preis.
Hamburg, 1988. After studying philosophy and art history, she began working in the world of cinema, first as a production assistant in the documentary sector, then as a casting assistant and director of feature films. In 2014 she shot her first narrative short film, and in the fall of 2016, she began her studies at the Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Film University. In 2017 her film Boys Will Be Boys was shown in Sehsüchte. In 2020 his film Der Quell will be released at the Max Ophüls Preis film festival.
