Film que denuncia el problema del aborto clandestino en México. Una joven estudiante de Sociología tiene un embarazo no deseado, es sometida a la terrible humillación de un medicucho espantacigüeñas. La muchacha enferma por el aborto mal realizado, es llevada por su amiga al Hospital General. Entrevistas en dicho hospital a mujeres que se provocaron abortos e impactantes estadísticas sobre mujeres que han muerto por legrados realizados en condiciones precarias.

A film which denounces the problem of illegal abortion in Mexico. A young Sociology student has an unwanted pregnancy and suffers at the hands of a “sawbones” doctor. The girl becomes ill due to complications from the abortion and is taken by her friend to the General Hospital. Interviews in the hospital who have provoked their own abortion and shocking statistics of women who have died having abortions in precarious conditions.
