Una modesta banda de música de la policía egipcia aparece en una pequeña y aislada localidad de Israel después de haberse perdido mientras se dirigían a dar un concierto protocolario. Enseguida son acogidos por los amistosos habitantes del lugar, quienes les abren sus corazones a pesar de las diferencias culturales. Con ellos pasan más de un día lleno de pasiones, comedia y malentendidos. La música, el amor y el propio espíritu humano conseguirán que triunfe la comunicación.
A little Egyptian police band arrives in a remote town in Israel, having goteen lost on their way to a concert they have been invited to play in. They get taken in by friendly locals who, despite their cultural differences, open their hearts to the outsiders. Over 24 hours full of passion, comedy and confusion, music, love and the triumph of the human spirit connect them all together.

Nación en 1973. Su primer trabajo para el cine fue el guión de la película Tzur Hadassim, dirigida por Gideon Kolirin, que le valio el Premio Lipper al Mejor Guión en el Festival de Cine de Jerusalén de 1999. En 2004 escribió y dirigió el telefilm The Long Journey. Bikur Hatizmoret es su primer largometraje y actualmente se encuentra escribiendo el guión de su segunda película Pathways in the Desert.
Born in 1973. Her first job in film was the screenplay for the film Tzur Hadassim, directed by Gideon Kolirin, which received the Lipper Award for Best Screenplay at the Jerusalem Film Festival in 1999. In 2004 she wrote and directed the made for TV movie The Long Journey. Bikur Hatizmoret is her first feature film and she is currently writing the screenplay for her second feature film Pathways in the Desert.
