Rodeados por navajas y tijeras, Emran, Gadisa y Maher se cortan el cabello o recortan la barba. Sentados frente al espejo, sus pensamientos flotan entre los recuerdos de la tierra y los trágicos acontecimientos del viaje que los llevó hasta Calais.
Surrounded by razors and scissors, Emran, Gadisa and Maher are having their hair cut or beard trimmed. Sitting before the mirror, their thoughts drift between memories of the land they lives in and the tragic events of the journey that brought them to Calais.

Emilien Cancet estudió cine documental y trabajó como cámara y editor para Libération y como fotógrafo para AFP en París. Su trabajo está enfocado principalmente en los seres humanos y las percepciones del mundo contemporáneo.
Animador, diseñador gráfico y editor audiovisual, desde 2009, Almenara ha coproducido películas documentales centradas en el valor de las palabras. En 2015, produjo Shapes, con lo cual inició una investigación sobre las conexiones entre la música y la animación.
Emilien Cancet studied documentary cinema and worked as a camera operator and editor for Libération and as a photographer for AFP in Paris. His work is mainly focused on human beings and perceptions of the contemporary world. Animator, graphic designer and editor, since 2009, Almenara has co-produced documentary films focussing on the value of words. In 2015, he produced a visual music film: Shapes, thereby initiation research on connections between music and animation.
