Salomé, de 15 años, trabaja en el taller de su padre, un pintor célebre por su color azul. Pero desde hace algún tiempo, el pintor, demasiado viejo, ya no es capaz de hacer su famoso color, poniendo en peligro su taller. Salomé espera que su padre le trasmita su secreto, hasta ahora celosamente guardado.

Salomé, aged 15, works in her father’s workshop, a painter celebrated for his blue. But it has been for some time now that the painter, too old, is no longer capable of making his famous colour, putting in danger his workshop. Salomé hopes her father will pass on to her his secret, until now jealously kept.

Realizadora francesa, en 2008 termina el máster en Estudios audiovisuales y cinematográfico con especialidad en realización en la ESAV (Ecole Supérieure d’Audiovisuelle) de Toulouse. Posee también estudios de guión en CEEA Conservatoire Européen d’Ecriture Audiovisuelle), de París. Ha trabajado para cine en títulos como, La peau claire, L’écrivain de la famille o Rêverie digestive; para televisión, como en las series Famille d’accueil o Les nuits cannibales; y para animación, Dr Freaks, Marcus Level o Wubby school, entre otros. Azurite es su tercer corto como directora y guionista.

French filmmaker, in 2008 she graduated MA in Audiovisual and Film Studies with a major in Filmmaking at the ESAV (Ecole Supérieure d’Audiovisuelle) of Toulouse. She also studied Scriptwriting at CEEA Conservatoire Européen d’Ecriture Audiovisuelle, in Paris. She has worked for cinema with titles such as La peau claire, L’écrivain de la famille or Rêverie digestive; for television with series as Famille d’accueil or Les nuits cannibales; and for animation with Dr Freaks, Marcus Level or Wubby school, among others. Azurite is her third short film as director and screenwriter.
