En una parada de autobús cerca de Beirut, una mujer conn velo y un trabajador sirio se encuentran en un momento tumultuoso y son arrestados. Deben argumentar su inocencia frente a los únicos testigos: un grupo de mujeres que van en autobús camino a la escuela de Corán, cada una con su propia versión de la verdad.
At a bus stop near Beirut, a veiled woman and a Syrian worker find themselves in a tumultuous moment and are arrested. They must defend their innocence against the only witnesses: a bus of full of women on the way to the Koran school, each of them with their own respective version of the truth.
DIRECCIÓN: Meedo Taha
Meedo Taha obtuvo un doctorado en Arquitectura por la Universidad de Tokio y trabajó en proyectos a lo largo de Europa y Oriente Medio. Luego siguió un Master en Dirección de Cine por la UCLA (Universidad de California en Los Ángeles), que le permitió evolucionar de la arquitectura a la realización cinematográfica. La primera novela de Meedo, A Road to Damascus, fue publicada por Tamryas en 2016, a partir de la cual se está realizando un largometraje.
Meedo Taha got a PhD in Architecture by the University of Tokyo and worked on projects across Europe and the Middle East. Then he prepared a Master Directing from UCLA, reinforcing his career transition from architecture to filmmaking. Meedo’s first novel, A Road to Damascus, was published by Tamyras in 2016, and is being adapted into a feature film.
