Una película emocional y fuertemente subjetiva acerca de la pregunta qué es la felicidad. A los 19, Yasmin está en busca de su propia felicidad y tratando de entender su vida, así como la difícil relación con su madre, una ex adicta a la heroína.
An emotional and highly subjective movie about the meaning of happiness. At 19, Yasmin is looking for her own happiness, trying to understand her life, as well as the difficult relationship with her mother, a former heroin addict.
DIRECCIÓN: Rosa Hannah Ziegler
Estudió dirección en la Academia de artes de medios audiovisuales de Colonia, Alemania (Kunsthochschule für audiovisuelle Medien Köln). Durante este tiempo realizó unas prácticas con el director Andreas Dresen. Su documental Cigaretta mon Amour – Portrait of My Father obtuvo mucha atención y fue galardonado con el Deutscher Kurzfilmpreis in Gold.
En 2011, Ziegler produce el cortometraje Escape, con el apoyo por la subvención Cast & Cut patrocinada por Nordmedia and Stiftung Kulturregion Hannover. La película cuenta la historia de dos chicas jóvenes que se han fugado de un hogar de crianza. Rosa Ana Ziegler está trabajando actualmente en un documental sobre los jóvenes.
She studied directing at Cologne Academy of Media Arts (Kunsthochschule für audiovisuelle Medien Köln). During this time, she interned with director Andreas Dresen. Her documentary, Cigaretta mon Amour – Portrait of My Father, garnered much attention and was awarded the Deutscher Kurzfilmpreis in Gold (German Short Film Award in Gold). In 2011, Ziegler produced the short film Escape supported by Cast&Cut grant which is sponsored by Nordmedia and Stiftung Kulturregion Hannover. The film tells the story of two young girls who have absconded from a foster care placement. Rosa Hannah Ziegler is currently working on a long-term documentary about youngsters.
