9 días retrata los primeros nueve días del rápido levantamiento sucedido en Alepo. Observaciones registradas por el reconocido fotógrafo sirio Issa Touma desde su ventana en la ciudad vieja.

9 days portrays the first nine days of the rapidly changing uprising in Aleppo. Observations recorded by the renowned Syrian photographer Issa Touma from his window in the old city.

Floor van der Meulen estudió diseño audiovisual en la Willem de Kooning Academy en Rotterdam y se gradúa en 2012. Hizo su debut internacional como directora de documental con Paradijsbestormers, que se estrenó en DokLeipzig.

Thomas Vroege se gradúa en Sint Joost Academy of Arts con The Son & The Stranger y después produjo el documental poético So Help Me God (2015). 9 Days es una colaboración entre los dos y el fotógrafo sirio Issa Touma.

Floor van der Meulen studied Audiovisual Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and graduaded in 2012. She made her international debut as a documentary filmmaker with Paradijsbestormers, which premiered at DokLeipzig.

Thomas Vroege graduated from Sint Joost Academy of Arts with The Son & The Stranger, afterwards he produced the poetic documentary So Help Me God (2015). 9 Days is a collaboration between them both and Syrian photographer Issa Touma.
