Es uno de los animadores y dibujantes italianos de referencia, autor de importantes colaboraciones en televisión, música y publicidad. En los años ochenta trabajó en la serie de televisión La Pimpa, creada por Altan, y en varios episodios de La Línea de Cavandoli. Hizo más de treinta videos musicales animados para Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Le luci della centrale elettrica, Zen Circus, Colapesce, Punkreas, Prozac + o 24 Grana entre otros, así como publicidad para marcas como Barilla, Mulino Bianco, Chicco, Ikea. En 2012 realizó el cortometraje de animación Djuman, presentado en Annecy International animated films Festival y seleccionado en varios festivales importantes como Anima Mundi y Animafest. En 2018 concluyó la realización de Mercurio, que duró más de cuatro años. El cortometraje fue nuevamente seleccionado, entre otros, en Anima Mundi y ganó numerosos premios, incluyendo el Mejor cortometraje en Imaginaria y Animaphix.

Michele Bernardi is one of the most important Italian animators and cartoonists, author of significant collaborations in television, music and advertising. In the eighties he worked on the TV series La Pimpa, created by Altan, and on several episodes of La Linea di Cavandoli. He made over thirty animated music videos for Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Le luci della centrale elettrica, Zen Circus, Colapesce, Punkreas, Prozac+, 24 Grana and many other bands, as well as commercials for brands such as Barilla, Mulino Bianco, Chicco, Ikea. In 2012 he made the animated short film Djuman, presented at the Annecy Int. Animation Festival and selected in several important festivals including Anima Mundi and Animafest . In 2018 he concluded the realization of Mercurio, which lasted over four years. The short film is again selected – among others – at Anima Mundi and won numerous awards including Best Short Film at Imaginaria and Animaphix.
