Valentin Riedl es físico y neurocientífico. Utiliza vídeos sobre actividad neuronal para ensamblarlos en una película narrativa. Por su capacidad para fusionar la ciencia abstracta con la forma artística, recibió el Premio Young Talent 2016 de la Fundación Cultural-Sparkassen por sugerencia de Wim Wenders.

Frédéric Schuld estudia en la Academia de Media Arts, en Colonia y funda el estudio Fabian & Fred, con Fabian Driehorst, en 2011. Trabaja como director y animador en cortometrajes, animación y documentales. En 2014, Fabian & Fred recibió la beca de la Fundación Wim Wenders para el desarrollo de su primera película animada. En 2018 terminó su primer cortometraje de animación como director, The Chimney y como codirector en Carlotta’s Face.

Valentin Riedl is a physician and neuroscientist. In videos of brain scans he searches for patterns of neuronal activity. Otherwise, he uses images to assemble them into narrative film. For his endeavour to merge abstract science with the artistic form of film, Valentin won the 2016 Young Talent Award of the Cultural-Sparkassen-Foundation by suggestion of Wim Wenders.

Frédéric Schuld studied at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and founded the studio “Fabian&Fred” with Fabian Driehorst in 2011. He mainly works as a director and animator on short films, animation and documentaries. In 2014 Fabian&Fred received the scholarship of the Wim Wenders Foundation for the development of their first animated feature. In 2018 he finished his first animated short film as a director The Chimney and as a co-director Carlotta’s Face.
