A portrait of the punk writer Kathy Acker is the starting point for a conversation with the photographer intersex Del LaGrace Volcano around gender identity and transformation.

En 2007, obtuvo una licenciatura en Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Barcelona y en 2014 un Master en Arte en Contexto por la Universidad de Artes de Berlín. Merchan vive y trabaja en Berlín como artista y cineasta. Su obra ha sido expuesta y presentada internacionalmente en numerosas exposiciones de arte, galerías, museos y festivales internacionales de cine. En 2017 ganó el Xposed Queer Short Film Fund y la Research Fellowship de Cultura y Europa del Departamento del Senado en Berlín.
In 2007, he obtained a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and in 2014 an MA in Art in Context from the Berlin University of Arts. Pol Merchan lives and works in Berlin as an artist and filmmaker. His work has been exhibited and presented in numerous art galleries, museums and international film festivals. In 2017, he won the Xposed Queer Short Film Fund and the Research Fellowship from the Senate Department for Culture and Europe in Berlin.
