Jaime, fotógrafo en paro, vive con su esposa Amaya. Ambos están esperando a su primera hija y Amaya preocupada por su situación económica anima a Jaime a buscar otro trabajo. Jaime que no está preparado para ser padre, se ve incapaz de renunciar a sus sueños y el reencuentro con Laura, un amor del pasado, supone su única vía de escape. Finalmente cuando por fin está dispuesto a asumir el compromiso de ser padre, su vida toma un giro de ciento ochenta grados… ¿Cuál será el futuro de esa niño?
