Este documental fue rodado durante mas de tres años en Hebron. Muestra como la ocupación afecta la vida cotidiana en Palestina. Leila Sarsour, 17, es estudiante en la escuela Al-Qurtuba, una escuela palestina para chicas rodeada de instalaciones y establecimientos militares israelí. Ella es una chica musulmana, pero no encaja con el estereotipo occidental, caracterizando a las mujeres árabes como débiles y victimas. Leila es fuerte, inteligente, directa y tiene su propia idea de una vida cotidiana libre de opresión y violencia.
This documentary was filmed during more than three years on location in Hebron. It shows how the occupation affects everyday life in Palestine. 17-year old Leila Sarsour is a student at the Al-Qurtuba-school, a Palestinian girl school surrounded by Israeli military installations and settlements. She is a Moslem girl, but she does not fit the widespread western stereotype, characterizing Arab women as weak and victimized. Leila is strong, intelligent, outspoken and has her own idea of a daily life free from oppression and violence.
