Gentes de distintas nacionalidades de Europa Central intentan alcanzar el Oeste cruzando los controles y las normas europeas. Partiendo de la realidad, el director reconstruyó algunas historias y escogió el reparto tanto entre las personas que las vivieron como con actores aficionados. Ellos reconstruyen estas historias, y quizás las falsean, a través de las respuestas que dan a los oficiales de aduanas (húngaros, eslovenos, italianos y croatas) y a las preguntas del autor.

People of different nationalities from Central Europe attempting to reach the West by crossing the controls and «European» rules. Starting from reality, the director reconstructed some stories and chose the cast both among people who experienced them and fledgling actors. They reconstruct these stories, and perhaps fake them, through the answers they give to the (Hungarian, Slovenian, Italian and Croatian) custom officers and to the author’s questions.
