El matrimonio de Viena, directora de teatro, y Daniel, médico de un geriátrico, está en crisis. Se quieren, pero no se soportan. Ambos se agarran a sus respectivos trabajos para llenar el impertinente vacío que les acompaña. Sus mundos son antagónicos, sus necesidades diferentes… O quizá no: todos buscamos lo mismo. Ésta es una historia que habla de soledades compartidas, de amores imperfectos, de deseos insatisfechos y de promesas que no sabemos cuánto van a durar pero que se convierten en un buen pretexto para vivir… A pesar de todo.
The marriage of Viena, a theatre director, and Daniel, a geriatric doctor, is in crisis. They love one another, but can’t stand each other at the same time. Both are caught up in the respective jobs to fill the emptiness they feel. Their worlds are conflicting, their needs so different… or perhaps not: we’re all searching for the same thing. This is a story of shared loneliness, imperfect loves, unfulfilled desires and of promises that we don’t know how long they will last but become a good pretext to live… despite everything.

Directora, guionista, actriz de cine, teatro y televisión, estudió danza clásica y contemporánea que combinó con estudios de Psicología. Durante su trayectoria profesional como actriz, ha trabajado con José Luis Cuerda, Fernando Trueba, Pedro Olea, Judith Colell, Bajo Ulloa, Jaime Camino, Vicente Aranda, Ventura Pons, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, Montxo Armendáriz, José María Forn, Juan Vicente Córdoba o Roger Gual. En 1998 debutó en la dirección cinematográfica con el cortometraje Déjeme que le cuente. Al año siguiente rueda el corto Lalia (1999), que recibió el premio Goya al Mejor Cortometraje Documental. Sus siguientes trabajos fueron las TV movies Quia (2000) y Las hijas de Mohamed (2003). En 2003 también escribió y dirigió el largo documental Elena Dimitrievna Diakonova «Gala», sobre la mujer y musa de Salvador Dalí. Su telefilme Cosas que pasan recibió el premio del Público en el 9º Festival de Málaga y el premio a la Mejor Tv movie en los premios Barcelona de Cine. En su último largometraje como directora, Pretextos (2007), también actúa junto a Ramón Madaula y Laia Marull. Actualmente trabaja en su próxima Tv movie: Bajo el mismo cielo.
Director, scriptwriter, actress in film, theatre and television. She studied classical and contemporary dance which she combined with the studies in Psychology. During her career as an actress she has worked with José Luis Cuerda, Fernando Trueba, Pedro Olea, Judith Colell, Bajo Ulloa, Jaime Camino, Vicente Aranda, Ventura Pons, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, Montxo Armendáriz, José María Forn, Juan Vicente Córdoba and Roger Gual. In 1998 she debuted as a director with her first short film, Déjeme que le cuente. The following year she filmed Lalia (1999), which received a Goya award for the Best Documentary Short Film. Her next projects were the made for TV films Quia (2000) and Las hijas de Mohamed (2003). In 2003 she also wrote and directed the documentary feature Elena Dimitrievna Diakonova «Gala», about Salvador Dali’s wife and muse. Her telefilm Cosas que pasan received the Award of the Public at the 9th Festival of Málaga and the award for the Best TV movie at the Barcelona Film Awards. In her latest feature film as director, Pretextos (2007), she acts alongside Ramón Madaula and Laia Marull. Currently she is working on her next TV movie, Bajo el mismo cielo.
