LE COLONEL CHABERT

Un hombre extraño, al que la gente llama el Espantajo, se presenta varias veces en casa del abogado Derville. Por fin consigue que le reciba, y comienza a relatarle su increíble historia. Dice ser el Coronel Chabert, considerado oficialmente muerto en la batalla de Eylau diez años antes.

A strange man, to whom people call the Scarecrow, presents several times in the house of the lawyer Derville. At last he is received, and starts to tell him his unbelievable story. He claims he is the Colonel Chabert, officialy considered dead in the battle of Eylau ten years ago.
