Un pueblo en las Comoras. Djibril pasa su tiempo libre cuidando una villa abandonada ubicada encima del pueblo. Mientras está ocupado allí, su pequeña casita de paja en la parte inferior del pueblo es arrasada por un incendio. Sin hogar, debe encontrar un lugar para vivir.
A Comorian village. Djibril spends his free time to take care of an abandoned villa located above the village. While he is busy there, its small straw box at the bottom of the village is ravaged by a fire. Homeless, he must find a place to live.

Nacida en Dunquerque en 1976. En 2004 se graduó por el Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle et de la Diffusion (INSAS) de Bruselas, A los 21 años visitó el país natal de sus padres, las Islas Comoras, por primera vez y comenzó a orientar su trabajo sobre temas de exilio y desarraigo. La Résidence Ylang Ylang (2008), seleccionada en la competición oficial del Festival de Cannes, es la primera película en 35 mm. realizada en las Comoras, y su primer cortometraje como guionista y directora.
She was born in Dunkirk in 1976. In 2004 she graduated from the Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle et de la Diffusion (INSAS) in Brussels. At 21, she visited the home country of her parents, the Comoros Islands, for the first time and began to orient her work on memory on the themes of exile and the uprooting. La Résidence Ylang Ylang (2008), selected in the official competition of the Cannes Festival, is the first 35 mm. film made in the Comoros Islands, and her first short film as a scriptwriter and director.
