Stefano, guionista de cine, y su esposa Alina alquilan una casa a la orilla del mar, y cerca de la villa del actual amante de Alina, que cada viernes irá a pasar el fin de semana con él. Stefano y Alina, que se aman mutualmente, tienen una pactada infidelidad. Pero cuando Stefano se da cuenta de la atracción que Alina siente por su último amante, y que va más allá del sexo, siente celos por primera vez y su obsesión va en aumento.
