LA MITAD DEL CIELO

En un valle de Galicia, cerrado y misterioso, vive una familia: madre, padre, hijas y abuela. El padre está harto de tantas mujeres y sólo quiere a Rosa, la hija pequeña. Un día, la abuela le dice a Rosa que cuando crezca conocerá a un afilador, pero que no se casecon él porque será desgraciada.

In a secluded and mysterious valley in Galicia, lives a family: mother, father daughters and grandmother. The father is sick to death of so many women and only loves Rosa, his youngest daughter. One day, the grandmother tells Rosa that, as an adult, she will fall in love with a knifegrinder but warns her she should not marry him because he will only bring her unhappiness.
