Zoli se gana el sustento pelando chinchillas en una fábrica de pieles danesa. Vive a las afueras de la ciudad, en un pequeño pueblo húngaro llamado Jaba. La familia de Zoli, un clan romaní que se ha establecido, lucha por ganarse la vida trabajando como jornaleros. Jaba no le ofrece a Zoli ni trabajo ni futuro, su único reto es matar el tiempo.
Zoli earns his livelihood by skinning chinchillas in a Danish fur factory. He lives in the outskirts of town, in a small Hungarian village named Jaba. Zoli’s Family, a Roma clan who have settled down, struggle to earn their living by working as day-labourers. Jaba offers neither work nor prospects for Zoli; the only challenge for him is how to kill time.

Nacido en 1971 en Colonia, Alemania. Trabajó como músico en Manchester, dejó Inglaterra para vivir en Hungría y en 1995 se trasladó a Berlín para estudiar cine y teatro. En 1997 entró en la academia de cine FAMU de Praga. Desde 1999 es alumno en el departamento de documental de la Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film de Munich. Born in 1971 in Cologne, Germany. He worked as a musician in Manchester, he left England for Hungary and in 1995 he moved to Berlin to study film and theatre. In 1997 he enrolled at the film academy FAMU in Prague. Since 1999 he is a student at the documentary department of the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film in Munich.
